Armageddon is a term used only once in the Bible, in Revelation 16:16. It is generally thought to be a devastating conflict, the great final battle of all battles on the earth, that is, the final battle between good and evil.
an eclectic collection of meanderings of my mind, a catalog of definitions and descriptions that go with my novel, ImagineNation. It's stuff about God... life... the universe... and of course, everything else in between. by Lisa Balazs
This blog is written because God is good and God is great. He is greater, bigger, wiser and kinder than you or I can even imagine, and He is real.
The postings of this blog contain scripture from the King James Version of the Bible, (unless otherwise noted.) Most of what is written here is the result of hours of personal research and writing that I have done for myself on the various topics.
This is a blog is written about real things, things which I have personally witnessed and/or given thought to in my own life. It was originallya non fictional aspect of a fictional work that I endeavored to write in order to illustrate that truth is indeed, stranger than fiction.
All that is written here, is subject to human error and most likely there will be typos, so please do excuse those, and be sure to check out the links added to the text, for these give an added dimension.
There is a nation greater than any nation you could ever imagine. It's a nation, under the reign of God, a nation indivisible, a nation with liberty and justice for all. and it's rising. It's rising is like the rising of the morning sun.
It is nation of people from every tongue and tribe. It is a nation of people, called to be God's own. They are a purchased possession. Purchased with blood, cleansed of sin by faith, faith in the One who gave them life and bought them, Jesus Christ. They are His people. They are people washed by the blood of the Lamb.
Can you imagine?
It's a nation without borders... A nation where all the people are as one. (John 17:11, 21,22) It's a promised land that stretches from the foundation of the earth, (John 17:24) from the beginning to the end and it is as real as the boundless realms of heaven we see when we glance far above the sky. (Psalm 50:6; 97:6; 102:25; 136:5)
The people of this nation are God's dwelling place and He is theirs. A temple unto God is what they are; holy.
Like Abraham, they believe, (and rightly reason) that God is perfect in all his ways, capable of anything, (yes, anything at all,) even of raising the dead to life.
They trust in God, and in his Holy Word, not man or mammon, and they wait for deliverance…
Like those before them who have walked the narrow road and traveled through the valley of the shadow of death, they know that they do not walk alone.
They are one with Him who died for them. They are at one with him. They are atoned for by the Lamb of God, and they believe.
One-day, in but the twinkling of an eye, at the sound of the last trumpet, He will return and they will meet Him in the clouds.
Then the whole nation will be raised… to eternal life, because there is a nation...
