Aura

Auras are commonly talked about when talking about migraine headaches. It infers that the patient sees bothersome FLASHes of light, usually accompanied by pain, but in New Age spiritual terminology an aura refers to luminous energy fields of “spirit” that like the glow of a light, appear in the spiritual realm around the bodies of all living things.

New Age auras are said to appear in a rainbow variety of colors with the color of an individual’s aura like a signature of their spiritual development, or sometimes their state of mind. In addition to suggesting breathing exercises and meditation, even hot showers to cleanse one’s aura, New Agers promote and sell products like crystals, herbal smudges, vibrational essences or special sprays you can purchase as well, to help clear your aura from any negativity in it.
