The Amazing Kreskin

The Amazing Kreskin is a magician named George Kresege, who for years baffled millions around the world with his extraordinary performances. People considered his feats so amazing that they even called him “the Nostradamus of the 21st century.”

Routinely demonstrating “mind over matter” and touting “extra sensory perception” (abbreviated ESP) for the interested public, he always insisted that the things he did were not supernatural or even occultic. Instead he said that he relied on “perfectly natural means” to accomplish his apparent feats of magic and said that anyone could learn to do it. Kreskin who was born in 1935, says he has always been in love with magic. It waw something he remembers since the age of five. When he was only eleven, he took to studying all the books on psychology that he could find in the local library. HE began his showmanship as a teen and quickly became known as the “worlds youngest hypnotist.” Kreskin now prefers to be called a “mentalist.” It was on his own weekly television show in the 1970’s called, “the Amazing World of Kreskin “ where he became famous for “bending spoons” with the mental power of his mind.

Kreskin has always mesmerize audience. He has appeared on CNN, ABC and FOX news, he has performed for audiences of Conan O’Brien, Johnny Carson, David Letterman, Jimmy Kimmell, Sally Jesse Raphael, Regis and Kathy Philbin and many others. Not only that there were 90 episodes of his syndicated TV show that ran from 1971-1975. When asked who were the greatest influences on his life, Kreskin named Mandrake the Magician comic books, radio-television pioneer, Arthur Godfrey and Bishop Fulton Sheen.”

Kreskin considers himself an expert on mind control, but denies that he has any association with the occult.
