The Titanic

The White Star Line owned the RMS Titanic, also known as the SS Titanic. It was built in Ireland and funded by the wealthy American, J.P. Morgan. It’s craftsmen and builders presented it to the world as an unsinkable ship. A lot of expert engineering went into the project and it was thought of as a grandiose display of what modern man could accomplish, particularly since it had the ability to transport men and women in such luxury and fashion to distant shores.

The Titanic was so great it went down in history and down to the bottom of the ocean too. It hit an iceberg and sank on her maiden voyage across the Atlantic on April 15, 1912.
